Job Title: SAS & SCADA Engineer

Job Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
The SAS & SCADA Engineer position is responsible for executing SAS & SCADA projects efficiently and ensuring adherence to quality standards, policies, and procedures. The role contributes to achieving departmental operational plans and developments within a broader scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Requirements Analysis:

    • Study and analyze customer requirements related to SCADA systems.

    • Ensure compliance with technical specifications required in tender documents.

  2. Client Interaction:

    • Meet with clients to discuss requirements, resolve concerns, and present solutions.

  3. System Design:

    • Prepare detailed designs for SCADA systems, including Ethernet LAN, HMI, automation components, parameterization, configurations, and system architecture.

    • Create bills of materials (BOM) and initiate the procurement of SCADA equipment.

  4. Problem Resolution:

    • Address and resolve issues during the production stage.

    • Collaborate with QC and Testing teams to clarify technical design issues.

  5. Testing and Commissioning:

    • Test SCADA equipment, software, Ethernet switches, and related components.

    • Conduct site testing and commissioning of SCADA systems.

    • Prepare and present test reports and perform customer inspections.

  6. Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce and adhere to all safety procedures throughout design, production, and testing phases.

  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and implement improvements to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Main Requirements:

  1. Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  2. Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of related working experience in SAS and SCADA engineering.

  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SCADA systems, including Ethernet LANs, HMI, and automation components.

    • Strong expertise in system design, BOM creation, and testing processes.

    • Experience with site testing and commissioning of SCADA systems.

  4. Language Proficiency:

    • Business-level English proficiency (minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).

  5. Additional Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Strong communication and client management skills.

    • Detail-oriented and capable of working under pressure.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: SAR 12,000 to SAR 16,000 per month.

  • Allowances: Additional transportation and accommodation allowances with family status.

  • Bonus: Yearly bonus based on performance.

  • Relocation Support: Movements to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will be provided.
